On the welcome page under "Catalog," you will find all the information about your uploaded products.

If you have any questions regarding how to use the catalog, please contact your designated Portfolio Development Manager.


FEEDS

In the "Feeds" section, we document the status of your feed data imports. Information such as the current import status, the last successful data import, the file name, and the number of data records can be viewed in this section.

Import Error

If we are unable to import your feed due to technical difficulties, this information will be displayed on the welcome page.

Resolve issue

The recommended actions under the “Resolve Issue” section show you what steps you can take to solve the problem yourself.

These instructions provide comprehensive information on what needs to be done. If you still encounter any difficulties, don’t hesitate to contact the designated point of contact.

No Errors

If your file is imported without errors, no recommended actions will be displayed. However, you will still have access to an overview of the last successful import.

Errors that impact your pricing or product availability are marked with the “High Priority” symbol. These should be resolved as quickly as possible, as they may otherwise lead to incorrect orders or pricing errors.


This feature will be rolled out to partners beginning in April until May 2025

ASSORTMENT ERRORS

In the "Assortment Errors" section, you can track the current status of your products. A product may have multiple errors that need to be resolved in order for it to become purchasable.

Products with Errors (Offline)

  • All products in your assortment that are offline due to failed data validations.

Total Products

  • Your entire assortment, as defined by the assortment-defining file, which determines which products are taken into account.

Include Products Without Availability

  • Products for which we do not receive availability information—such as stock levels or restocking dates—are marked as “without availability.

  • By default, these products are included in the analyses. However, if you prefer to focus solely on content-related errors, you can uncheck the box to exclude all products without availability information from the analysis.

In this overview, the five most common errors are displayed. By exporting the file, you can prioritize and sort the errors in the way that suits you best.

Error List

The error list contains detailed information for each product with one or more errors.

Priorization

If your product has more than one error, the errors must be prioritized in the following order:

  1. Any conflicts related to the GTIN

  2. Any conflicts related to price or availability

  3. Conflicts concerning product type assignment

  4. All other issues

 

Download Error List

To ensure efficient quality assurance of your product assortment, we provide a detailed Excel export. This includes all product-related errors with the following information:

  1. Product identification

  2. Error details

    • Specific error message

    • Detailed error description

    • Affected data value

  3. Correction instructions

    • Additional information

    • Relevant help links

    • Affected column from your feed

    • Required action

    • Timestamp of the error

This structured overview enables systematic error correction and optimization of your product catalog.

Action Types

The error description provides specific guidance on the necessary actions

  • Add / Fix
    To make your product available online, we require missing information or a correction of an incorrect value. Please add or correct the relevant details in your feed.

  • Wait
    Please wait. No action is required on your part.

  • No Action
    Review your product or remove it from the feed.

 

Purchase Price is outside the valid range

Once you have downloaded the error list, you can use the “Link” column to access this overview. This error is the ONLY one that can be resolved directly within our system.

  • Only confirm the price if it is correct in relation to the specified GTIN.

  • If it is indeed an error, please update the price in your feed.

SEARCH

To check the status of individual products without having to download the entire list, you can use this search function to look up up to 10 products at once. All you need are your Partner Product IDs or GTINs.

  • Products that are online and have no errors are not displayed in the error search.

  • The Partner Product ID corresponds to the ProviderKey from your feed.

 

Too Many Errors

Due to the high volume of data, we are unable to provide you with a direct export of the error list. Please contact your Galaxus representative.

  • A high number of errors means a minimum of 150,000 errors.

  • The product search (Tab: Search) can still be used.

How up-to-date is the displayed data?

The data is live.

How quickly are changes to the number of affected offline products visible after I update the feed??

It can take up to one day.

What are some reasons why my product might be blocked due to compliance guidelines?

What product compliance requirements must I meet as a merchant?

I am connected to Galaxus in Switzerland and the EU, do I see all errors?

No. For your EU assortment, you also need to log into your EU partner portal.

The number of errors can differ significantly in the portals.

My image is accessible in the browser, but there is an image download error in the error list.

Please check with your IT department whether the images meet our requirements for download:

I provide an image URL, but according to the error list, the image is missing.

Check whether the product has been successfully categorized. If categorization is still pending, no image can be used, even if an image URL is provided.

Each error is shown in a separate row in the Excel sheet. If a product requires multiple quality attributes, a row will be generated for each attribute.
