🇨🇭 How do I deliver the goods directly to the customer?

Direct deliveries are subject to specific requirements. The requirements include the following points, which can be checked by us through test orders.

Suppression of sender information

Digitec Galaxus AG does not permit supplier information in detailed sending notifications (visible only to registered Swiss Post customers). Suppression of sender information can be requested via the Swiss Post Key Account Manager (free of charge).

Two options of implementation are to choose from:

  • Suppression of the sender information for the current licence

  • The creation of a new licence with suppressed sender information, to be used for deliveries on behalf of Digitec Galaxus AG only

Customers will still be informed about the shipment status, but without any information about the sender.

Tracking numbers

Digitec Galaxus AG requires transmission of the corresponding tracking number via EDI or Partner Portal for all direct deliveries. In the event of repeated failure to transmit tracking information, Digitec Galaxus AG reserves the right to discontinue placing direct deliveries with the supplier.

Shipping labels, sender address and delivery note

Digitec Galaxus AG prefers packages with address labels for direct deliveries. Either the sender is completely omitted on the label - or it must read as follows:

If address labels are not used, document pouches may be used to enclose the delivery notes and indicate the address and sender. Regarding delivery notes, the following points must be considered:

  • Digitec Galaxus AG only sends delivery notes to corporate customers who explicitly request a delivery note. Suppliers with a partner portal connection receive information on whether the corporate customer requests a delivery note. If this setting cannot be taken into account, all deliveries should be accompanied by a delivery note.

  • If a delivery note is used in a document pouch to indicate the address and sender, the package must never be accompanied by another delivery note.

  • If a delivery note is enclosed, it must be in the format specified by Digitec Galaxus AG. Special attention must be paid to the following:

    • Correct logos in good resolution

    • Correct links in the header

    • Minimum height of the header

    • Margins

Packaging

The packaging of the articles is subject to defined quality criteria. Compliance is periodically verified by Digitec Galaxus AG, and non-compliance may result in a warning.

  • The shipment may not contain any advertisement, brochures, promotional gifts or other additions not explicitly requested by Digitec Galaxus AG.

  • The consignment must be neutrally packaged (white labelling) and mustn’t allow any conclusion about the sender:

  • No logos or URLs on the packaging, adhesive tape, outer packaging or packaging material

  • Exceptions are manufacturer logos or brand logos on the outer packaging or other packaging material, adhesive tape, etc.

  • The packaging must offer sufficient protection of the contents:

  • The ratio of the volume of goods to the volume of packaging should be as optimized as possible (no air)

  • The ratio of packaging thickness to weight must be selected in such a way that transport damage is minimized

  • An outer packaging is desired, but not mandatory. If no repackaging is made, then it’s mandatory that the goods are packed in such a way that no residues are left on the original packaging by labels, adhesives tape or similar.

  • For data protection reasons, it is prohibited to include details such as the customer's e-mail address or telephone number on the outer packaging. Personal details of the customer must be limited to the name and address.
