  1. Assortment group: The generic term for broadly defined areas and a large number of articles. These assortment groups do not necessarily correspond to the top menu level of the portal as it is presented to the end customer. An example of an assortment group is "household «household and kitchen articles"articles».

  2. Product type: This is a keyword term for articles with certain characteristics, performance, etc. that are comparable or that can equally satisfy a certain need of the end customer. Product types can be, for example, "Automatic «Automatic coffee makers", "Espresso machines" or "coffee capsule systems"makers», «Espresso machines» or «coffee capsule systems». The specific sales charge to be paid is defined at this level.

  3. Product: This is a specific individual item that can be ordered on the portal by the end customer, e.g. a specific model of an automatic coffee maker from a specific manufacturer. Each product is assigned to a product type and thus also to an assortment group. This means that the sales charge for both this automatic coffee maker and that of another manufacturer must be paid in the same percentage amount.
